Ensuring food meets quality and specification standards.
Adhering to food safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and food-borne illnesses.
Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service of dishes.
Operating and maintaining cooking equipment (ovens, stovetops, grills, etc.).
Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Complying with health and safety regulations.
Key Skills:
Food Preparation:
Mastery of basic and advanced food prep techniques, including cooking meats and seafood.
Knowledge of Kitchen Equipment:
Familiarity with proper use and maintenance of kitchen tools and equipment.
Efficiency in Fast-Paced Environments:
Ability to work quickly under pressure, especially during peak times.
Understanding Food Safety Regulations:
Commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic cooking environment.
Meal Presentation:
Attention to detail in creating visually appealing and appetizing dishes.
Basic Math Skills:
Accuracy in measuring ingredients and scaling recipes.
Experience:
