Full time – SPC – Maternity Cover
Armstrong Timber Engineering requires a suitable candidate to fulfil the role of Production Planner & Scheduler on Specified Purpose Contract Basis (Maternity Cover) to commence February 2025. The position will be for an initial 7-month period with the possibility of extension.
Job Description
The Production Planner & Scheduler will hold overall responsibility for the planning and scheduling of production & delivery activities across the business. They will ensure that each order is planned & scheduled for production in an efficient & productive manner to optimise output & meet our customers delivery expectations.
Duties include, but not limited to;
* Plan & co-ordinate production in line with agreed delivery schedules
* Provide line management to the Saw team. Oversee optimisation processes & timber stock availability.
* Ensure maximum labour & resource utilisation in conjunction with the Operations Manager
* Regular communication with key stakeholders to seamlessly transition each order from design to delivery.
* Maintain accurate and real time information on our IT platforms.
* Provide performance KPI’s to track & report progress
Experience, Training & Qualifications
* Candidate needs to be a determined self-starter with a professional approach and extremely well organised
* Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiating skills
* A ‘can-do’ attitude that contributes to the development of a positive team environment
* Ability to produce clear, concise and accurate reports, paying close attention to detail
* Fully literate in the Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to work on multiple production and scheduling platforms
* Line management/supervisor experience
* Knowledge of timber frame processes and products a distinct advantage.

Pay: From €35,000.00 per year
