We need your help with:
1. Validating and discussing specifications for new features with our product team.
2. Designing and developing internal and customer-facing web applications and APIs.
3. Improving the performance of our synchronization engine for large data sets from APIs of advertising platforms like Google Ads and Amazon Advertising.
4. Advancing our deployment and monitoring processes for applications and infrastructure (not mandatory).
5. Handling and minimizing big data sets up to 1 million records.

Who we are looking for:
1. If you are an ambitious Python developer with at least 5 years of experience in backend software development and handling big data sets.
2. You are a product-oriented developer with at least 5 years of professional experience.
3. Strong communication skills in English (min. C1) & the ability to explain non-tech teams tech issues or features.
4. You are willing to lead internal projects (a plus).
5. You are located in the EU or have no more than a 2-hour time difference to our Berlin time zone.
6. You are excited about analyzing problems and developing appropriate solutions.
7. You know the balance between getting things done and doing it the right way.
8. You have advanced Python and SQL skills.
9. You feel at home on the *nix command line.
10. You may enjoy DevOps tasks and have experience with managing cloud-based infrastructure and monitoring tools.
11. Working independently. This is not the kind of job where you show up, and we tell you exactly what to do every day!
