Job Specification:
U Value Insulation have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Recruitment Specialist to join the existing HR team. Working closely with the HR Manager, this is a broad hands-on role where your experience and value add skills should make a strong contribution to the U Value Insulation Group. The purpose of this role is to manage the recruiting cycle from application through to contract for new hires across all departments within the company. The recruitment specialist will screen, assist in shortlisting candidates, ensuring an exceptional hiring manager and candidate experience, securing the best qualified hires for our business.
We offer the successful candidate a high degree of autonomy, whilst being fully supported by the HR Manager, and working collaboratively to achieve company goals and targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the business to gain an understanding of the hiring needs and timelines to fill vacancies.
* Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of roles, assisting the business to hire and retain quality candidates.
* Build a robust pipeline and panel of suitably qualified candidates.
* Partner with the business to implement innovative recruitment strategies.
* Use all available channels, job boards, social networks and platforms for sourcing quality candidates, creating and posting job descriptions and announcements.
* Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and use innovative approaches to finding quality candidates.
* Screen CV’s and manage candidates through the hiring process from interview preparation to final offer and contract issue.
* Maintain a database of candidate records at all stages of the process.
* Assist in interviews, reference checks, offering best practice recruitment support to hiring managers.
* Support the HR function to ensure compliance with employment law and regulations across the UK and Republic of Ireland.
* Generate HR reports for the HR Manager and MD’s of the business.
* Research talent acquisition trends to improve processes.
Requirements:
* Ideally possess 2-3 years of recruitment experience, working either in an in-house or agency environment in Ireland.
* Previous experience in the construction or distribution sector is a plus.
* Be results driven and have a proactive “can do” attitude.
* Thrive in a busy, challenging and demanding environment.
* Ability to find a positive solution while balancing different stakeholder needs.
* Be self-motivated, organised and possess excellent time-management skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Be open to challenge the status quo (i.e. the current way that things are done).
* Have strong attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of information.
* Have strong computer and analytical skills.
* Be used to working on their own initiative.
* Possess a valid driver’s license.
