What is the opportunity? The Senior Project Manager will take a lead role on the delivery teams, crafting solutions that meet our business needs, while also supporting the delivery of these outcomes to our business. They will work across a range of technologies both on premise and cloud as well as working with vendors providing specialist capabilities. In this role, you will: Lead end-to-end project delivery to cost, schedule and scope expectations and closely handling project change control within agreed processes. Establish and maintain an appropriate governance structures and effective communications with all partners. Management of project/programme Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies with appropriate actions/mitigations with appropriate governance. Running project budgets and report against agreed targets/outcomes and robust maintenance of all programme documentation/registers. Manage the activities of internal teams, third parties, and other stakeholders whilst also mentoring junior team members and supporting peers. What will make you stand out? You will have proven experience of leading and delivering substantial projects/programmes in the financial services sector and have the ability to demonstrate 360 degree stakeholder/relationship management. Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not vital in order to apply: IT delivery processes (SDLC) Testing processes and methodologies Risk & Compliance management in a regulated environment. Ideally a formal Project Management qualification (Prince 2, PMP) Knowledge of technology an advantage - think 'technically literate' Experienced in data migration, data management and regulatory reporting projects/programmes Essential Qualifications There are no specific qualifications or minimum educational requirements needed for this role.
