The Role / Location
Location: Cork, Ireland
An opportunity has arisen in our growing Property Management division for a Property Manager, to assist with the management of our busy commercial property portfolio.
The successful candidate will deliver the day-to-day output required in respect of each property they are involved with and to the required standard. They will be self-motivated with a goal and results orientation, have excellent relationship management skills and be able to display a proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels and prioritise workload.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of commercial properties including regular site visits.
2. Support their line manager on larger client projects and accounts.
3. Maintain regular contact with key stakeholders such as owners, tenants, building site staff, 3rd party suppliers & contractors, lawyers, etc.
4. Assist with the preparation and management of annual service charge budgets and year-end reconciliations.
5. Maintain and report on key lease data as part of the wider client reporting strategy.
6. Preparation of client reports and attendance at client meetings as required.
7. Collaborate and co-ordinate with internal colleagues and teams as part of overall service delivery requirements.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Key Competencies
1. Technically competent in their discipline with the ability to earn client trust.
2. A minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial property management.
3. Have started, or be intending to start, the route to becoming a chartered member of the SCSI.
4. Be IT competent and ideally have experience with property management software systems such as Yardi.
5. Have a basic understanding of ESG and the importance it plays in the built environment.
6. Strong verbal, numerical and report writing skills.
7. Good communication and negotiation skills.
8. A team player.
9. Good interpersonal and influencing skills.
10. Pragmatic approach to problem solving.
11. Honesty, integrity and openness, high ethical standards.
12. Fluent in spoken and written English.
Desirable Experience and Skills
1. Understanding of Landlord and Tenant Legislation.
2. Full drivers' licence.
