About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join our expanding Sustainability Team as a Sustainability Manager in our Dublin, Ireland office, supporting a major transport program. You will be part of a passionate team and a global network of sustainability professionals, delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions across various sectors and clients.
In this role, you will lead the sustainability agenda, working across client functions to identify and implement innovative and efficient sustainability practices. You will collaborate with the program supply chain to integrate market-leading sustainable solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Additionally, you will support the land, property, and planning function, overseeing the environmental and sustainability sub-function, including resource planning and management.
We are looking for a highly experienced sustainability professional who can drive efficiency and sustainability throughout all project phases for major transport or infrastructure programs. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and influencer, capable of leading tasks independently and coordinating cross-functional teams.
Key Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Environmental Science, Natural Sciences, or a related field.
* Extensive experience in sustainability strategy, environmental management, and stakeholder engagement.
* Strong expertise in circular economy, resource efficiency, decarbonization, energy management, life cycle assessment (LCA), and sustainable procurement.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering sustainability and environmental projects in a client-facing role.
* Excellent report writing, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.
* Experience leading and managing teams, supporting resource development and deployment.
* Strong technical knowledge of sustainability and environmental management, with practical experience embedding sustainability within organizations and projects.
* Chartered professional status (e.g., Chartered Environmentalist).
* Experience working within the infrastructure sector (e.g., highways, water, power, rail, waste management, or local authorities).
* Understanding of EU and Ireland-specific sustainability policies and regulations, including knowledge of EU Taxonomy, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and European sustainability goals.
* Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies, including MS Excel, Power BI, ArcGIS, and LCA software.
