With more than 50 years in the Irish market, we offer a strong product portfolio of laboratory instrumentation and supplies.The Admin Sales Representative will provide essential support to our sales team. This role is focused on assisting with pre-sales and administrative functions, including preparing quotes, filling in customer documents, and coordinating tender submissions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and communication skills, and an ability to work effectively under deadlines with a customer-focused approach.Duties and ResponsibilitiesQuotations and Proposals: Prepare, send, and follow up on quotations for potential and existing customers based on sales team guidance.Tender, VDR and URS Documentation: Assist with completing and submitting tenders, URS (User Requirement Specification) and VDR (Vendor Document Requirements) documents, and other client-specific forms with accuracy and attention to detail.Sales Order Processing: Support order entry and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely order fulfilment and delivery.CRM and Database Management: Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system, ensuring accurate client information and tracking all sales activities.Communication with Clients: Serve as a contact point for customers to answer questions, provide status updates, and manage general enquiries regarding quotations, orders, and documents.Sales Reporting and Analysis: Generate and distribute regular sales reports, metrics, and feedback to the sales team, identifying key insights to support team objectives.Product and Price Documentation: Keep product catalogues, price lists, and promotional materials organised and updated for sales team use.Administrative Coordination: Assist with setting up product demos, and with sales presentations and materials preparation.Process Improvement: Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to streamline processes and enhance client satisfaction.AttributesEssential CriteriaBachelor's degree in one of the biological sciences, or related field.Skills/CompetencesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesDesired SkillsSAP B1 proficiency or experience (desirable not essential)Previous experience in a sales role (desirable not essential)Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.What to ExpectPreferably Dublin/Meath/Kildare based, for an exceptional candidate, MSC would be willing to look outside of this area.
