The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for an Agile Coach / Engagement Lead to join our team in the U.K. and Ireland (UKI). In this role, you will lead technical engagements with our customers, helping to drive engagements with Red Hat to get the best value for the customer; enabling the customer to sustainably deliver technology change with open technology and open techniques at its core. You’ll use your experience to cultivate progressive deliveries by running workshops and events with customer teams and Red Hat’s architects, working hand in hand with our customers to build new and effective ways of working and manage ongoing customer relationships. Your role will also include working alongside our Solution Technology Practice (STP) team, assisting in a four to twelve week residency-style engagement where small cross-functional teams accelerate application development and share an open culture. As an Agile Coach/Engagement Lead, you will help cultivate the U.K. and Ireland project management community, helping colleagues to adopt new practices and approaches, while also offering opportunities to get support and feedback yourself. The nature of the activities will depend upon the type of work we have been asked to support with our customers. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do
* Spur and incept new approaches to technology delivery with Red Hat customers; utilising agile and open ways of working
* Enable high performing teams made up of Red Hat, customer and partner colleagues; where teams continuously assess and improve their approach to technology change
* Train, coach or mentor individuals and groups, providing context specific advice to assess and grow Agile and DevOps maturity
* Facilitate workshops which help clarify engagement target outcomes, continually focus on the latest engagement-specific priorities and regularly demonstrate working product alongside the engagement team
* Serve as an ongoing point of contact for customer delivery, throughout customer engagements
* Work with customers to design, plan, and carry out their deliveries with Red Hat Consulting; on larger engagements, help customers in complex delivery to achieve success
* Serve as an Engagement Lead for Residencies, including residency planning and management, process management and improvement, team building, and customer mentoring
* Share industry trends and new approaches, contributing thought leadership, innovate our current thinking and develop new approaches to change how organizations and teams deliver software and systems
* Travel to customer locations throughout UK and Ireland with occasional travel throughout the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)
What you will bring

* Experience working in customer-facing positions
* Strong servant leadership manner; proven ability to select training, mentoring or coaching style where appropriate
* Extensive experience delivering offerings
* Ability to use methods which support agile teams is a must; ideally with a qualification(s) in a methodology or methodologies which complement an agile delivery style
* Knowledge of project management processes and experience with revenue-based project reporting
* Demonstrated ability to understand the technical impact on offerings from a supportability, scalability, and repeatability points of view, as well as the business impact on Red Hat and customers in delivering and scoping projects
