Position Summary
Applications are invited for the role of Senior Research Coordinator, Insight Centre for Data Analytics. The Senior Research Coordinator will have the responsibility for managing the function of the Technical Coordinator role for the AI4Europe project under the Horizon Europe Programme, including operations, facilities, finance, staffing, information management and resource allocation, with particular focus on the AI4Europe interactions with UCC and its affiliated project partners, and on the management of academic research programmes funded by national and international agencies and research conducted within the Insight Centre for Data Analytics.
The Senior Research Coordinator will support the Director of the Insight Centre for Data Analytics to achieve the agreed strategic and administrative goals of the AI4Europe project and of the AI-on-Demand platform, and will serve as the primary interface between the Facility, UCC, all associated AI4Europe Partners, and AI-on-Demand stakeholders.
S/He will provide high level coordination mainly to the AI4Europe project and several other academic research projects to maximise outputs and synergies and will ensure the research work within the centre meets good practice and data protection standards.
The Senior Research Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations of all AI4Europe research related work, infrastructure and equipment, including research data integrity and management, in accordance with Horizon Europe requirements and other relevant legislation, local and national.
The Senior Research Coordinator will have 10+ years of experience in the technical coordination and management of large, multi-centre, multi-partner, multi-national research, collaboration and infrastructure projects in Europe with a working knowledge of EU Commission funded programmes and the research funding agencies in Ireland.

Salary: €68,400 per annum, (Personal Rate)
