The Amazon Web Services TA team is looking for a talented, customer-focused Recruiter who will work with a team of Sourcers and Recruiting Coordinators focusing on the areas of candidate talent search and process improvement.
They will foster a collaborative team ensuring delivery of efficient, effective, quality-driven service to internal customers and meet customer SLAs. Build and maintain a network of potential technical candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations.
2. Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing new processes and fine-tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
3. Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process.
4. Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including the assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging internal sources of talent, and identifying top performers for senior-level openings.
5. Strong communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills, with a keen focus on delivering business results.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5 years of recruiting experience in a corporate and/or search firm with a focus on sourcing and candidate generation.
- Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing strategies and tools, including proactive phone and internet research.
- Experience managing and prioritizing recruitment and client relationships.
- Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to execute recruiting strategy, candidate management, and diversity sourcing.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary degree.
- Fully bilingual in Japanese and English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- CTS/ATS experience with sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates.
- Analytical skills with the ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
- Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
