Assistant Professor of Social and Behavioural Science in Food and Agriculture
We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor of Social and Behavioural Science in Food and Agriculture within the College of Health and Agricultural Sciences at UCD.
This role is crucial in advancing the School's commitment to interdisciplinary research and enhancing sustainable agricultural and food consumption practices through behavioural studies. You will work alongside a diverse team of over 80 academics across various disciplines, contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in social and behavioural sciences.
The ideal candidate will have experience conducting behavioural research in agriculture, food, or related fields, demonstrating a strong commitment to research, innovation, and stakeholder impact. You should be comfortable working with both quantitative and qualitative methodologies and willing to collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to collaboration are essential for success in this role.
