A Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QSHE) Manager is sought by our client, an international distributor based in Dublin, to support the development and delivery of their QSHE strategy and objectives. The role involves ensuring that the business meets or exceeds relevant Occupational, Process Safety, Environmental, Security, and Quality Standards. This will be achieved through effective management of systems, procedures, and activities, which includes promoting and embedding a progressive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development and delivery of the business QSHE strategy and objectives.
* Ensure that the business meets or exceeds relevant Occupational, Process Safety, Environmental, Security, and Quality Standards.
* Apply Human Factors assessment to ensure that the operating environment and workforce are suitably matched.
* Define team objectives, Key Performance Indicators, and prioritize, delegate, and monitor work to ensure the optimisation of resources.
* Compile regular reports on performance and investigate regional incidents.
* Provide health and safety expertise to all areas and ensure compliance with current health, safety, and environment legislation.
* Develop and implement the QHSSE strategy, aligned with the organisation's Global AIPSM and Occupational Safety policy and procedures.
Qualifications:
* NEBOSH Diploma Qualified or working towards.
* Chartered Safety Professional CMIOSH desirable.
* Degree in Chemistry or science-based subject/equivalent vocational qualification preferable.
* DGSA qualification or knowledge of dangerous goods legislation, primarily ADR preferable.
Experience:
* Strong experience in Health & Safety Advisory/Management positions.
* Experience in the chemical or related industry, particularly within a COMAH/SEVESO site highly desirable.
* Extensive knowledge of chemical industry legislation.
