Our client is a leading international Biotechnology company with a state of the art aseptic manufacturing facility in Dun Laoighaire, South Dublin.
The plant is one of the most dynamic in Ireland and is currently undergoing rapid expansion and capital investment.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience at Ireland's leading aseptic manufacturing plant.
The Administration Coordinator is a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of one or more departments. Their activities ensure that department management can maximize their productivity and focus on critical business activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as a primary contact for one or more departments and coordinate timely completion of administrative needs.
2. Manage diaries and organize activities.
3. Make travel arrangements.
4. Organize local and international meetings and manage visitors' travel arrangements.
5. Administer expenses.
6. Support department communications and track activities.
7. Handle enquiries from internal stakeholders and provide guidance to new team members.
8. Complete specific projects and activities at the request of department heads.
9. Provide backup and support for other site-wide A/Cs as required.
10. Perform any other tasks/projects assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
1. Experience in personal assistant/administration support roles to Director level.
2. Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, with strong attention to detail.
3. Competent in MS Office tools – Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio.
4. Experience organizing congresses/meetings with stakeholders from multiple organizations, both local and international.
5. Strong planning and organization skills.
6. Ability to adjust to shifts in priorities.
7. Self-confident and assertive in working with senior management.
8. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
9. Proactive and solution-oriented approach.
10. Personal accountability to see matters through to completion.
Package:
The initial contract duration is 12 months with a view to extend.
