This is a site-based role.Job DescriptionThis role is an IT Support Engineer working within a multinational life science manufacturing environment in Munster, Ireland.Responsible for IT Systems delivery as part of ongoing LifeCycle Management process. This candidate will be required to work closely with the IT and LifeCycle Management teams responsible for the full Automation and IT scope and with vendors / partners with responsibility for delivery of systems. Responsibilities of the RoleAssistance to Project team with implementation, installing and troubleshooting existing and new systemsWorking with global teams and external vendors to provide solutions for businessAdhering to company standards when designing and implementing solutions for businessLiaison with other cross functional teams to ensure deliverables meet project requirementsEnsure adherence with standards, following business processes in the execution and support of Automation systemsManaging relevant documentation required by projectParticipate in daily Tier calls, taking responsibility to collaborate with customers to address daily operational issues in the PLC and automation spaceFollow project schedules and document trackers to assist in the management and control of project deliverables.Liaise with stakeholders on the overall project to ensure clear communication between all parties to ensure clear communication between all parties in relation to IT requirementsComply with Global Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, regulatory requirements and execute current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in the performance of day to day activities and all applicable job functions.Work collaboratively to drive a safe and compliant cultureRequirementsCore Competencies (Technical):The following experience would be advantageous; Active Directory, Single Sign On, Server DatabaseNetwork Administration, Desktop & Server Virtualization, Cloud TechnologiesSome knowledge of Computer System Development Lifecycle is preferredSome knowledge of automation systems (PLC/Scada/BMS) is preferredGood understanding of IT networks (subnets, firewalls)Good working knowledge of MS Windows systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office and job related computer applications requiredPrior experience in a similar role in the Pharmaceutical industry is desirableMust have a valid EU Work Permit and Irish Residency.Core Competencies (Business):Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively with all levels of colleagues in a team environmentSelf-motivatedEffective time management and multi-tasking skillsProblem solving skillsQualifications:Degree Qualification ideally in a related Automation, Engineering, Computer or other Technical discipline CompensationRegular staff position, competitive salary and employee benefits package.Job type: full time.Job location: site-based role in Munster, Ireland.
