Job Title: Senior Chef Location: Portmarnock Golf Club Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: €38,000.00 per year Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role and environment Experience in a busy kitchen is an advantage HACCP training expected Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards in your section, ensuring quality and consistency.
Handle a wide range of premium food with skill and precision, following our sustainable practices.
Work directly with the Head Chef and senior management team to brainstorm and develop innovative new dishes and menus.
Contribute creative ideas for events and seasonal specials.
Supervision & Mentorship: Supervise and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Take ownership of your section, managing mise en place and ensuring smooth service.
Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering to ensure minimal waste and maximum freshness.
Hygiene & Safety: Maintain kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Ensure all dishes leaving your section meet the club's standards for presentation and taste.
