Permanent Role
Our teams work shift in a 3 week rotation. Monday to Friday (No weekend or overnights) - 2 early shifts 7:00 - 3:30 and one late 2:30 - 10:30pm.
Your role at Baxter:
A great opportunity to start your career in Baxter as a Technician in Production to join a small team based in our Deansgrange operation in South Dublin.
Purpose of this Role:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the main purpose of the role of a TECHNICIAN is responsible for supporting aseptic manufacturing in a cleanroom environment. As a Production Technician with Baxter, you’ll understand the importance of the role you play in delivering safe, good quality products to our communities - now more than ever.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Picking of Raw Materials for daily manufacturing.
2. Preparation of components for use in Validation work.
3. Sanitisation of equipment for use in graded cleanrooms.
4. Performing environmental monitoring (when required).
5. Assisting in Cleanroom activities including basic aseptic techniques.
6. Labelling/Packing of finished product.
7. Compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Distribution Practices (GDP), as applicable.
8. Compliance to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Clean room or related pharmaceutical operation experience would be an advantage but not necessary.
2. Knowledge of GMP cleanroom activities.
3. Cleanroom behaviours.
4. Environmental Monitoring.
5. Basic Aseptic compounding Principles.
