About the Role
As a Meetings & Events Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the events function, ensuring exceptional service and operational efficiency. You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and Director of Sales to drive event revenue and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate all meeting and event operations
* Work closely with sales and reservations teams to maximize bookings and revenue
* Manage a team of event service professionals, ensuring top-tier guest experiences
* Ensure function rooms are set up, fully equipped, and meet guest expectations
* Monitor food & beverage service, ensuring quality and compliance with brand standards
* Handle guest feedback, resolve issues, and continuously improve service delivery
* Develop strategies with the Director of Sales to achieve revenue goals
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain operational excellence
What We’re Looking For
* 2+ years of experience in a similar role within a 4-star+ hotel or event venue
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Proven ability to drive event sales and exceed performance targets
* Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Knowledge of event operations, banquet setup, and F&B service standards
Desirable Qualifications
* Leadership qualification or industry awards
* Previous experience with a recognized hospitality brand
