Dispatch Team Lead
We are looking for a skilled Dispatch Team Lead to oversee daily dispatch operations and ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review the order book daily to ensure all orders are properly logged and any new orders are added.
* Prioritize orders based on customer demand and delivery schedules.
* Plan and coordinate dispatch loads, ensuring efficient use of vehicles/space.
* Proactively coordinate with suppliers/clients to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
* Update and maintain monthly KPIs to ensure dispatch goals/performance metrics are met.
* Motivate and develop your team.
* Work safely and comply with legal and company regulations.
Requirements:
* Solid experience in a dispatch, logistics or supply chain role.
* Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent.
* Knowledge of SAP and other logistics or warehouse management systems.
* Proficient use of MS Office.
* Strong analytical skills required.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, plan and allocate resources effectively.
* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
