The College of Science is seeking a faculty colleague who will research at the intersection of physical and chemical principles governing macromolecular biological systems to study and address interconnected challenges in human, animal, and environmental health.
Job Description:
We are looking for an expert in bio-molecular interactions, structural dynamics or mechanobiological processes to explore innovative solutions for complex One Health issues.
* Conduct research at the intersection of physical and chemical principles governing macromolecular biological systems.
* Study and address interconnected challenges in human, animal, and environmental health.
* Collaborate with colleagues across multiple disciplines to develop innovative solutions for complex problems.
Requirements:
* Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., biophysics, chemistry, physics).
* Expertise in bio-molecular interactions, structural dynamics or mechanobiological processes.
* Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in interdisciplinary teams.
* Publication record in high-impact journals.
* Ability to secure external funding to support research activities.
Working Conditions:
Hours of work for academic staff are those as prescribed under Public Service Agreements.
