Supply Chain Planner
Location: Hybrid, 1 day per week on site in Galway City Centre.
Type of contract: 6-12 month fixed term contract
Hours – Monday to Friday, 35 hour week. Flexible working hours.

About Your New Job
This role will be reporting into the Senior Supply Chain Planning Manager and will be supporting the implementation of SAP project and the creation of a finished goods inventory and distribution forecast.
The successful applicant will be developing an inventory plan for EMEA and this will be based on; demand, actual orders, network lead times and inventory and will be the direct main point of contact with Customer Service for supply related questions.
Planner Job responsibilities:
* Monitor and track inventory levels and reconcile inventory variances.
* Establish critical inventory parameters such as; replenishment quantity and launch quantity.
* Ensure all inventory metrics are met, identify action items and follow all inventory level issues to resolution.
* Utilise and maintain current inventory planning systems to create the best forecast possible.
* Report on back orders, short stock, excess items and slow moving inventory to third parties.
What Skills You Need for this Planner Job Opportunity:
* 3-5 year’s of relevant Material planning experience.
* Experience of working within either Distribution or Manufacturing.
* Excellent organisation and prioritising skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
