People Development Specialist L&D
On behalf of their Client, Kenny-Whelan & Associates are sourcing for a People Development Specialist L&D for the Cork area to join a well established Life Sciences Company in Cork.
Profile of Role:
Manage People Development including collaborating with Senior Management in the execution and delivery of the site-wide L&D strategy.
Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Own, deliver and further develop the internal L&D programme content.
2. Support and deliver Global Leadership Development Programmes.
3. Own site metrics for People Development with a keen eye on business impact and ROI.
4. Deliver and provide feedback on selected psychometric assessments at individual and team level.
5. Contribute to site wide employee engagement, culture and wellbeing initiatives.
6. Knowledge and experience of implementing the full HRD cycle (identify, design, deliver and evaluate).
7. A drive for ongoing professional development, a passion to keep abreast of key trends in the L&D space.
Education:
1. Professional Qualification in Organizational Psychology /Training /Learning and Development / Human Resource development essential, with manufacturing/industry experience.
2. Training delivery and evaluation (previously Train the Trainer QQI Level 6) or equivalent.
3. Preference for qualified Coach and psychometric qualification, particularly Insights.
Experience:
1. Previous pharmaceutical/ manufacturing experience very desirable.
2. A positive, can-do attitude, with proven capability to work collaboratively with teams and individuals, cross functionally.
3. An agile learner who can flourish in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
4. A passion for people development with proven record of enabling and supporting change at individual, team and organisational level.
5. Experience of delivering to diverse audiences and tailoring approaches.
6. A strong belief in teams and an understanding of how to support effective team environments.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Self-motivated/ proactive approach with the ability to work without close supervision.
