Day Service Manager
The role of Day Service Manager involves overseeing the operational aspects of our day services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered support to adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our team in Co. Tipperary, promoting independent living, community integration, personal development, and work opportunities for attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement best practices to deliver high-quality, person-centered services aligned with New Directions and company values.
* Provide leadership to ensure top-notch, person-centered services while maintaining compliance with internal and external standards.
* Manage staff effectively, utilizing motivational and leadership skills to drive results.
* Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health and Safety and Employment laws.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving excellence in service delivery.
* Ensure seamless integration of services, working collaboratively with stakeholders to meet attendee needs.
Requirements:
* Relevant 3rd level qualification (Level 7/8) in health, social care, or nursing.
* Recognized Management/Leadership Qualification (QQI Level 6 minimum).
* 5 years post-qualification experience in a similar setting, demonstrating leadership in delivering person-centered supports.
* Familiarity with New Directions and the EASI tool.
* Previous experience in staff management, working within set resources.
* Experience supporting individuals with challenging behavior.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health and Safety and Employment laws.
* Demonstrated motivational and leadership skills.
* Irish Driving License.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland.
