Position Title: DC Manufacturing Team Lead

Position Summary:
The DC Manufacturing Team Lead oversees the assembly of Custom Single Run (CSR) Disposable Containers (DC) for use in the biopharmaceutical industry, following instructions and blueprints. This role involves managing a team of DC Manufacturing Technicians, providing assistance, and working on industry-leading equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Accountable for KPIs in DC manufacturing
• Develop and lead a team of DC Manufacturing Technicians
• Plan and monitor day-to-day operations
• Ensure DC is a right-first-time product, meeting quality acceptance criteria and highlighting any deviations
• Conduct operations in a safe manner, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Evaluate, monitor, and increase productivity
• Perform procedures according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Guidelines (GDLs)
• Compile documentation to an acceptable standard, adhering to ABEC criteria for DC builds
• Adhere to associated standards and procedures in a classified clean environment
• Knowledge of hand tools, fabricating equipment, measuring devices
• Operate overhead crane and/or forklift
• Develop training plans and support training of new employees and retraining of existing employees
• Execute other tasks as assigned
• Ability to travel when required
Qualifications:
• Self-motivated
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Two years' previous experience, preferably in a classified clean environment
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in producing documentation subject to quality and customer audit
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read tape measure and perform simple mathematical equations
• Aptitude with blueprint reading
• Proficient with hand tools and basic fabrication tools
• Able to lift a minimum weight
• Physically capable of wearing protective body, eye, ear, and head gear
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, and carry items
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment & cleanroom gowning equipment
