About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our multi-disciplinary team. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting gas and diesel generator plants, gas-handling systems, and other associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and electronic components of the generating and gas handling plants.
2. Diagnose faults and perform repairs on electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime.
3. Calibrate instrumentation and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Maximize plant uptime by performing on-line machine adjustments and supporting operational needs.
5. Coordinate with external contractors and liaise effectively to ensure smooth operations.
6. Identify and implement improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
7. Assist in the installation of new plant and equipment as required.
8. Participate in training programs, supporting both personal development and the development of others within the team.
9. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that tools and parts are stored appropriately.
10. Adhere to all ETCI guidelines and health & safety standards.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and passionate about making a difference.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience post-apprenticeship.
2. Electrical Trade Certificate or equivalent electrical qualification.
3. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, particularly with control systems.
4. Previous experience in industrial control systems is an advantage but not essential.
5. A methodical and flexible team player with a willingness to learn.
6. Clean driving license (a company vehicle will be provided).
7. Willingness to participate in an on-call rota and occasional overtime as required.
Working Hours
1. Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
2. On-call rotation: Approximately one week in seven.
3. Overtime may be required to meet operational needs.
