Senior Health & Safety Advisor - Vision Built The Senior Health and Safety Advisor will work across Vision Built construction projects in Ireland, implementing and maintaining high standards through supporting of project teams and supply chain. Please note: This role can be either contract (hourly rate TBD, short term for 6 months) or a full time permenant position with an annual salary. Key Responsibilities: Provide Health, Safety and Environmental advice and support to project delivery teams and stakeholders across 2-4 projects. Implementation of the VB OHS and Environmental management system requirements. Attend relevant site meetings including start up meetings, project meetings and supply chain meetings. Review of contractor RAMS, SPAs, supporting plans, permits and training records Carry out audits/inspections of Vision Built projects in line with management system Internal reporting of H&S and Environmental metrics on various systems including Msite, Econoline and Smart waste. Manage training needs of the project team for Health, Safety and including delivery of courses where appropriate. Support the VB Head of Health, Safety and Sustainability in continual improvement of the management systems. Assist tender and prequalification teams where required. Be aware of critical legislative changes and best practices to enable the provision of competent Health, Safety and Environmental advice to the site stakeholders. Incident reporting and investigation Be aware of own limitations so that advice given remains within those limitations. Experience & Skills Tech IOSH At least 4 years in construction industry At least 4 years as a Health and Safety professional Time Management and Organisation Skills Interpersonal and engagement skills Understand performance management Strong IT skills in MS Office tools and OHS/Env reporting systems Training/Qualifications NEBSOH Construction Certificate or equivalent Internal Auditor Awareness of lifting operations, Temporary Works, PSDP & PSCS Responsibilities Incident Investigation Training Remuneration & Benefits Competitive salary Pension 26+ days annual leave Much more!
