About the Position
You'll be part of a small but busy team, with varying day-to-day tasks. As a standard, you'll start each day by checking emails and voicemails, managing the lawyer's calendar, and scheduling appointments. This may involve coordinating with clients, witnesses, and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage electronic dictation and correspondence
* Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and track deadlines
* Prepare and format legal documents
* Assist with client communication and file management
* Perform other administrative duties as needed
Experience/Requirements:
* Previous experience in a legal secretarial role
* Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; legal software experience a plus
