Collaborate with Account Management and Business Development Teams to nurture existing accounts and secure new opportunities. Develop and nurture relationships with key venues and studios that may have Crew / Out of House group requirements Represent the hotels at sales team meetings, internal & external customer-led events as appropriate. Adoption of all available tools to support efficient ways of working, including CRM, BI Tool, Market Intelligence Tools and Solver Customer Facing- Owned Responsibilities: Develop and nurture relationships for the hotels with key national & global clients through ongoing account management. Generate new business and accounts for all hotels To participate fully in all sales activities, including telesales, sales calls, corporate entertaining, fam trips, social events, and overseas sales trips, as necessary. Identification and management of new opportunities in your market in line with hotel strategy and across the wider Dalata portfolio. Planning & Forecasting Collaborate with Area Director of Sales on proactive sales strategy and identifying & analysing opportunities to ensure they fit with the hotel's business strategy. Undertake monthly tracking of Conference In-House, Conference Out of House & Crew segments in the hotels to monitor enquiries and conversion levels. Timely production of monthly & ad hoc reports. Execute actions from quarterly sales activity plans to support business needs. Team Management Regular engagement with the team on their performance Mentor and coach hotel sales and M&E team and develop talent pipeline Ensure Sales team resources are appropriately distributed across the area to meet the demands of the business Requirements: Minimum of 2years experience working in a similar position in hotels Effective communicator Be commercially aware with strong analytical skills, beable to understand key business indicators and competitive trends Excellent organisation and planning skills Ability to develop and build long-lasting relationships through account management and promote cross-selling into Dalata Hotel Group Experience working with global clients & agencies Sales focused and results driven Knowledge of the Dublin market essential About us Dalata Hotel Group We bringtheheartof hospitalityto every hotel we own and operate.
