Counter Manager – Boots Carlow (3 Days per Week)

As Counter Manager, you’ll bring our brand to life, working independently to drive sales, build relationships, and create a welcoming space where customers feel empowered in their beauty choices.
Your Role:
As the sole Counter Manager, you’ll take full ownership of your business, maximizing every opportunity to engage customers and grow sales. You’ll work closely with Boots Beauty Specialists (BBS) and the store team, ensuring they are educated and excited about bareMinerals. By keeping them updated on new launches and key brand messages, you’ll gain their full support to drive the success of the counter.
What You’ll Do:
Own Your Counter – Work independently to deliver sales, service, and brand impact.
Deliver Exceptional Customer Service – Provide expert advice, personalised beauty consultations, and mindful beauty experiences.
Drive Sales & Appointments – Proactively engage customers, traffic stop, and manage appointment business.
Business Planning & Reporting – Plan, track and report counter performance, identifying opportunities to drive growth.
Partner with the Store Team – Build strong relationships with BBS and store colleagues, keeping them informed and engaged in the brand.
Educate & Inspire – Share product knowledge, updates, and best practices to ensure full team support.
Create Excitement – Plan in-store activations, events, and animations around key retail moments, new launches, and always-on brand icons.
Visual Merchandising – Maintain an inviting, on-brand counter space that attracts customers and showcases our products beautifully.
Engage Through Social Media – Manage a dedicated social media page for the counter to showcase products, services, and events, driving customer engagement and footfall.
Work Smart – Manage stock, coordinate with retail partners, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
What We’re Looking For:
Retail or beauty experience, with a passion for customer service and sales.
A self-starter who thrives working independently and takes ownership of their business.
A strong communicator who can engage, educate, and build great relationships.
A results-driven mindset with the ability to maximize every opportunity.
Experience in business planning, events, and visual merchandising is a plus.
Confidence in using social media to engage customers and drive traffic.
Flexibility to work key trading days, including weekends, to drive counter success.
