Assistant Project Manager - Water Leakage Reduction Programme

We are seeking a skilled Civil or Environmental Engineering professional with experience in the water sector to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager in the Water Leakage Reduction Programme.
This exciting opportunity involves managing projects related to Water Mains Rehabilitation, Repair, Pressure Management, and Lead Replacement. We are partnering with a renowned client who has an established relationship with Uisce Éireann (Irish Water) for the delivery of essential water and wastewater network projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project and Budget Management: Oversee the day-to-day planning, design progress, and construction management of water network projects, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
* Team Leadership: Manage project teams to ensure the successful delivery of clean water main projects and network rehabilitation.
* Lifecycle Representation: Represent the employer throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
* Feasibility and Planning: Produce feasibility studies, option appraisals, cost plans, and business cases.
* Collaborative Design: Work with other design team members in an integrated approach.
* Procurement Management: Prepare contract documents, drawings, and specifications for procurement.
* Construction Monitoring: Manage project progress against the program, monitor costs, and ensure quality assurance during the construction phase.
Requirements
* Qualifications: A third-level qualification in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
* Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in civil engineering, with a preference for experience in the water or wastewater sector.
* Skills: Excellent communication skills, particularly in report writing and client liaison.
* Technical Knowledge: A working knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous.
