Key Account Manager - Warehousing Pharma Sector
You will be responsible for selling warehousing and distribution to the pharma sector.
We are recruiting for a sales leader to join our team. This role will be instrumental in driving strategic growth and expanding our footprint in key markets with a focus on pharmaceuticals.
This role requires skills in key areas such as negotiation, relationship building and management, sales, and market research. To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record of delivering growth over a sustained period of time with the ability to develop pipelines through strategic and targeted planning. You will have prior experience in developing and delivering compelling value propositions and be able to influence, partner, and negotiate at senior levels.

Key Responsibilities:
* Be pro-active in driving and identifying new business prospects, and ensuring all sales and revenue are explored and captured.
* Formulate and implement a strategic account management plan to ensure that business relations are properly maintained.
* Key involvement in the scoping and pricing of opportunities by navigating through complex negotiations, agreeing pricing and contractual agreements.
* Work within pricing parameters set by the Management team when negotiating with clients.
* Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights, providing data-driven recommendations to the CEO.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment on company objectives.
* Provide regular updates and detailed sales performance reports to the CEO, ensuring transparency and accountability.
* Expand your network in the sector by playing an active role in different networking associations.
Qualifications and Experience:
* 5 to 7 years’ experience in a similar role required.
* Proven track record of success in a senior sales or business development role, preferably within the logistics and supply chain industry.
* Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building and maintaining high-value relationships.
* Previous experience in working with Pharma clients required.
* Data-driven mindset with proficiency in sales and CRM tools.
* A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferable; an MBA is a plus.
