This is a place where you can find a career with meaningful purpose—improving lives through your life's work About The Role: This Graduate role is a 12-month training within our Cardiac Rhythm Management division, based in Ireland with regular travel throughout the region.
This will give you a first-hand insight into the commercial world of healthcare outside of a University setting.
You will develop many competences while performing in a professional work situation.
You will be working in the cathlab or operating room supporting highly innovative Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices from the Boston Scientific portfolio by engaging with clinical stakeholders to promote and train them on our products.
You will work in a close relationship with the Account Manager, to effectively develop and implement the sales strategy for the territory and ensure that sales objectives are met in a precise and competent manner.
Successful candidate may be taken on permanently at the end of this period.
Your Responsibilities Will Be: 1.
Working towards becoming a technical and clinical expert on our complete product portfolio offering: - Pacemakers - Defibrillators - Cardiac Resynchronization Therapies - Subcutaneous Defibrillators - Implantable loop recorders 2.
Daily remote and on-site technical and clinical support to customers during cases performed with Boston Scientific products and services according to predefined planning - Educating customers on optimal product and service use of Boston Scientific products - Engaging customers from a clinical and technical perspective by having high level professional interactions - Build long term strong relationships with customers - Continuous education of hospital staff 3.
Actively contribute to the agreed strategy in collaboration with Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) field team (Account Managers, Field Clinical Specialists, CRM Marketing, etc.)
- Identifies opportunities to drive account growth through spending time with clinicians and asking questions to uncover needs and challenges (clinical value selling) - Proactively builds knowledge of the market you operate in, the territory or region, and how it impacts customers - Builds and maintains insight into competitor products in own area of expertise, advising customers appropriately - Contribute actively to the account planning with the account manager Other duties may be assigned.
What We Are Looking For: • Be a recent Bachelors or Masters graduate (2023/2024) with a Biomedical, Scientific Degree or Nursing qualification covering elements of the Heart/Cardio etc.
• Be fluent in English • Have planning, time management, strong communication and presentation skills.
• Have completed a placement within a clinical, hospital or similar setting.
• Be computer/technically savvy.
• Have a desire to learn, be coached and develop within a commercial setting.
• Be willing to travel across Ireland.
