Job Summary
We are seeking a Site Engineer/Technician to work on drainage and flood risk management projects in the South West Region of Ireland.
Responsibilities
* Organise and direct project construction and maintenance, including supervision of direct labour force.
* Produce method statements and risk assessments and ensure works are carried out in accordance with such documentation.
* Carry out setting out work, including levelling, Total-station, and GPS work in accordance with drawings and specifications.
* Assist in assessing Section 50 and Minor Works applications.
* Monitor works and ensure they are carried out in accordance with design drawings and specification.
* Manage Quality Assurance file, including concrete QA, earthworks QA, and Survey QA.
* Investigate and report on matters arising from project construction and maintenance.
* Liaise with public bodies, local authorities, organisations, and individuals.
* Implement QA procedures and resolve technical issues.
* Manage sub-contractors and disseminate information to foremen, operatives, and subcontractors.
* Interpret design plans, specifications, and technical drawings.
* Provide assistance with procurement of goods and services.
* Liaise with local authority and stakeholders.
* Prepare and maintain site reports and records.
* Utilise CAD software and other relevant tools for data analysis and documentation.
* Provide guidance and technical support to construction teams and subcontractors.
