Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver
Based in Derrylin, we are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team on a full-time temporary basis. The role offers a competitive pay rate of £15 per hour.
About the Role
We value professionalism and safety above all else. As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will play a vital part in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to transport goods as per schedule.
* Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
* Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and unloaded safely.
* Maintain accurate records, including delivery paperwork and logs.
* Provide excellent customer service during all interactions.
* Communicate effectively with the transport team and report any issues or delays.
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 1 licence.
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
* Minimum 2 years of HGV driving experience.
* Strong understanding of transport regulations and compliance.
* Good communication skills and attention to detail.
* Desirable: Experience in curtainsider and tipper lorries Knowledge of local routes and areas.
