Our client is a well-established Engineering Consultancy based in the west of Ireland with an excellent reputation for delivering projects across both private and public sectors.
Your New Role
You will join a dynamic Civil & Infrastructure team experiencing a surge in projects nationwide as a Project Engineer. With at least 5 years' experience in civil engineering, preferably in the water sector, you will have expertise in treatment process design, water network design, or network modelling – water or wastewater being highly desirable. You must be able to meet tight deadlines while working collaboratively within a team environment. Key responsibilities include:
* Preparation of contract specifications and drawings.
* Surveying and site inspections.
* Preparation and review of preliminary designs and reports using computer packages, followed by detailed design drawings and specifications.
* Contribution to project teams on a day-to-day basis.
* Direct communication and meetings with clients.
Requirements for Success
With a third-level degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and ideally 4+ years of experience working with a consultancy, you will possess:
* Experience in building, water retaining structures, or bridge design.
* The ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding required designs.
* Knowledge of Irish building regulations and Eurocodes.
* PREFERRED knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3D, and GIS.
