The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting and developing existing accounts while growing overall sales.
Key Accountabilities:
· “Get the sale” using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations etc.)· Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness· Evaluate customers’ skills and needs and build productive, long-lasting relationships· Meet personal and team sales targets· Manage and maintain existing customers· Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads· Attend meetings, sales events, and training sessions to stay up-to-date· Report and provide feedback to management using financial and statistical data· Maintain and expand client database· Demonstrate a successful sales background and the ability to achieve KPIs and targets· Develop opportunities by researching and identifying potential and existing accounts· Build relationships at various levels to ensure a positive customer experience· Maintain high-level knowledge of the company’s services· Price and quote customers effectively· Provide customers with technical information on the product range· Update weekly call sheets
Essential Criteria:
· Minimum 2 years of direct, B2B sales or customer success experience (preferably selling into businesses)· Proficient in MS Office· Experience in negotiating and closing sales· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills· Good communication and teamwork abilities· Networking experience· Initiative and ability to solve fundamental problems and make routine decisions· Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to ensure task completion· Leadership skills
