About the position PTSB is seeking applications for a newly created senior leadership role, the Head of Business Banking Products reporting directly to the Head of Bank Products and Pricing Strategy and as a member of our bank Senior Leadership team, the Head of Business Banking Products plays a fundamental role in influencing, driving, and delivering on the Groups lending strategy as defined by ExCo and Board. This role is responsible for the ongoing innovation and strategic direction of one of our key product segments Run & Grow my Business and is a key enabler in ensuring we deliver the right banking and asset finance propositions at the right price to our business (and personal asset finance) customers through all our service channels. Following significant changes in PTSBs SME and asset finance capabilities in the recent past, a unique opportunity exists to shape the future evolution of the banks ability to meet SME needs and to support the transformation of PTSBs presence in these markets. The role involves collaborating with key internal stakeholders such as Treasury, Risk, Distribution, Operations, Customer and Marketing teams to deliver on agreed SME foundational capabilities, pricing, and product development strategies. Experience/Requirements A relevant business degree or Masters. With a minimum of 5 years senior commercial experience leading a financial services product category including management of pricing, proposition development and distribution strategies. A strategic thinker with proven experience managing multiple enterprise programmes concurrently. Strong analytical ability with a fact-based, structured approach to decision making. Proven track record of taking accountability, identifying and converting strategic opportunities and developing commercially successful and sustainable product and pricing strategies. Proven ability to bring together, lead and motivate teams in a transformational environment. A strong understanding of the regulatory environment within financial services and evidence of a control mindset to ensure products under your management adhere to relevant regulation. Evidence of an expert understanding of the credit journey from acquisition to decisioning to in life maintenance and a track record of resolving issues across the product lifecycle. Excellent relationships builder, with an ability to communicate across the enterprise at all levels as well as to the market.
