Job Description
Fehily Timoney and Company (FT) is one of Ireland's largest Irish-owned consultants with centres of excellence in Sustainable Infrastructure, Circular Economy, Environment, Planning, and Renewables.
We provide design and contract management services for the construction of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, rail, solid waste facilities, renewable energy, drainage, water, and wastewater treatment facilities, airports, tunnels, and gas pipelines.
As a Principal Project Manager - Civil and Environmental Engineering, you will join our Circular Economy team in either Cork, Carlow, or Dublin offices.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead civil and environmental design teams to deliver projects on time, within quality, and budget requirements.
* Supervise and mentor senior and junior staff members.
* Prepare technical reports and tender documents.
* Plan and manage design work closely with Project Directors.
* Ensure compliance with quality assurance and management systems, as well as relevant health and safety legislation.
* Coordinate work with other team members and manage client relationships and communications.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or related field.
* Chartered Engineer status.
* 15 years post-graduate experience in design and project management.
* Ongoing Oral Hearing experience desirable.
* Multi-disciplinary design management experience.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills.
* Flexible team player who works efficiently and takes initiative.
* Valid driving licence.
