Manufacturing Associate III – Dexcom Athenry
Position Title: Manufacturing Associated; Level 3 (Experienced Product Builder/Trainer).
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Shift Pattern: Day Shift

The Ireland Operations team is actively seeking the right production team members to support the knowledge transfer and stand up of manufacturing in our Ireland factory.
The successful candidates will be required to travel to our sister sites (Malaysia or the USA) over a two-month period to train and become experts on production lines. This team will return to Ireland fine tuning their skills and knowledge on our Athenry pilot lines prior to transferring their knowledge to our new recruits at the end of. Long term, these individuals will act as SMEs for our volume ramp with the potential to grow further.
Our production takes place predominantly in a cleanroom environment and this role will interact with semi-automated and fully automated lines. You will be responsible for manufacturing Dexcom’s Continuous Glucose Monitors on one of our shifts (24/7 Operation) and ensuring the highest quality product reach our customers
We are looking to establish a high-performance culture with attention to detail, compliance to quality and safety and a focus on continuous improvement.
Where you come in:
1. You will train and be recognized as a Subject matter Experts on the Dexcom process
2. You will be cross trained on multiple process steps
3. You will ensure compliance to all quality procedures and ensure procedure language is localized to support the Ireland ramp.
4. You will complete and maintain quality documentation as required for the manufacture of medical devices (GMP requirements).
5. You will identify and comply with all safety requirements and always operate in a safe manner
6. You will complete tasks to predefined deliverables/targets as assigned by your supervisor.
7. You will be fully competent on the set up and operation of a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's product.
8. You will train and share knowledge learned in a structured way as part of the volume ramp using your deep understanding of the quality requirements and be fully competent at inspection of product as required against required specifications.
9. As part of a team, ensure communications are clear and courteous.
10. You will act as a culture champion.
What makes you successful:
11. You have a Leaving Certificate or an equivalent level 5 qualification.
12. You have 4 to 6 years medical device and cleanroom experience with clear progression.
13. You must be eligible to work in Ireland.
14. You are computer literate and mechanically minded.
15. You are experienced at working in a team with skills in training others as an advantage.
16. You must be fluent in spoken and written English.
17. You must be punctual, able to complete complex tasks and have a high level of dexterity and attention to detail.
18. You must be able to travel to Malysia or USA for at least 2 months for the purposes of training.
19. You must demonstrate an ability to master multiple process steps in a production environment.
20. You will have a strong ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
