Job Description:
The Financial Controller will play a crucial role in the company's future, taking on responsibilities previously held by the current Finance Director.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the Finance Director to understand the day-to-day running of the business
* Manage and develop two financial assistants working on month-end processes
* Own the payroll vendor relationship and be the main point of contact for internal payroll queries
* Become the main point of contact for external auditors
* Take full ownership of banking relationships, month-end, board reporting, treasury, cash flow, and company secretarial duties
Requirements:
* Accountancy qualification is essential
* Construction sector experience would be preferred
* Excellent communication skills to work with various stakeholders
* Experience of Work In Progress (WIP) reporting would be ideal
Working Conditions:
This is a small company where each person has multiple responsibilities. The successful candidate must be comfortable adapting to changing situations and being flexible with their workload.
Remuneration:
Up to €90,000 per annum, plus bonus up to 15%, parking, pension, and health cover allowance. Annual leave: 24 days.
