CWP supports communities and disadvantaged individuals/groups in areas including personal development and wellbeing, social inclusion, employment training and placement, enterprise supports (including grants), social enterprise, community development, environment, and climate action.
CWP wishes to recruit for the linked functions of a Healthy Food Made Easy Coordinator and a Community Tobacco Cessation Facilitator. The position will be full-time and is funded through the Health & Wellbeing Unit of the HSE Community Healthcare East. The successful candidate will deliver both functions across a 35-hour working week, with hours divided evenly across both roles.
The Healthy Food Made Easy (HFME) is a national programme devised by the Health Promotion Unit of the Department of Health, in conjunction with the Community Nutrition Service of the HSE. It is a peer-led six-session programme aimed at improving nutritional knowledge, attitudes, and behaviour, even on a tight household budget.
The HFME Programme Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and organisation of the programme, and will also be involved in its delivery and variants. They will track all costs related to the Programme while working within a set annual budget.
