Job Title: Interim Finance Manager Location: Remote Working Model: Fully remote with occasional pre-arranged meetings Abrivia is partnering with a leading global non-life insurance group to recruit an Interim Finance Manager on a 12-18-month contract. This role is being offered on a part-time basis, with flexibility for either three full days or five mornings per week, and is fully remote, aside from occasional pre-arranged in-office meetings. The successful candidate will work alongside the existing Financial Controller, managing business-as-usual operations while they focus on a strategic project. This role requires an experienced insurance accountant with a strong background in Solvency II, financial reporting, and compliance. Your Role: Lead day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy in regulatory submissions and Solvency II reporting. Support financial oversight, budgeting, and forecasting, working closely with senior leadership. Assist in ensuring financial governance, risk management, and internal controls are maintained. Act as a key point of contact for regulatory bodies, auditors, and external stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams to maintain compliance with local and international financial regulations. Provide analytical insights and financial updates to help drive strategic decision-making. Your Skills: A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive insurance industry experience. Deep knowledge of Solvency II reporting, financial regulations, and insurance accounting. Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with key stakeholders. Experience handling financial audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance obligations. Strong financial acumen, with the ability to identify risks and optimise financial processes.
