Ballyfin Demesne are hiring a Director of Sales & Marketing.
This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about luxury hospitality, focused on driving revenue, and skilled in luxury sales & marketing.
The Director of Sales & Marketing will oversee sales, marketing, revenue, working to enhance the hotel's brand, guest experience, and achieve revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Managing Director and wider team to develop and implement strategic business plans, including an annual sales and marketing strategy aligned with hotel objectives.
Lead the functions of Revenue, Sales, Marketing and Events. Identify new business opportunities across all market segments. Represent the hotel at industry events, tradeshows, and FAM trips, with international travel required. Oversee sales and marketing budgets, ensuring alignment with hotel goals and financial expectations. Work closely with the Managing Director to execute brand, advertising, and marketing strategies, including reputation management. Stay informed of market trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies to align with current market conditions.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Sales & Marketing processes. Experienced in collaborating across revenue management, sales and marketing functions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Good understanding of marketing tools with strong organizational and prioritization skills. Guest-centered approach and strong interpersonal skills, capable of working well within a team environment.
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of experience in a senior sales & marketing position, such as Director of Sales & Marketing in luxury hospitality.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Valid Irish driver's license.
Qualifications:
Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Sales, Revenue, Marketing, or a related field.
