Production Scheduler
The scheduler will be required to manage and co-ordinate the planning activities of production, loading & dispatch to achieve production output. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this person will be required to ensure that production & logistic schedules are produced in a timely fashion and that optimum stock levels are in place at all time
Key Responsibilities
•Managing Master Delivery program
•Preparing and updating weekly haulage program
•Active participation in daily and weekly production meetings
•Preparing and updating daily manufacturing schedule
•Managing machine schedules for all production machinery & Lines
•Preparing works orders for all individual loads
•Auditing works orders for loaded trailers
•Managing stock takes
•Managing weekly stock orders
•Recommend / implement improvements to standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement in production and safety
The successful candidate will have
•Project Management qualification.
•Competent in: Project Planning, Microsoft Project, Project Scheduling. Logistics Planning
•Experience in manufacturing / modular building is an advantage
•Experience with automated machinery
•Ability to read and understand architectural/engineering drawings.
•Strong project management skills to support schedule delivery
•Good influencing / collaboration skills and teamwork mindset
•Strong analytic/problem-solving skills.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
•Dependable, flexible
•Enthusiastic & self-motivated
•Strong communication skills (oral and written).
