The Group is experiencing significant growth due to its focus on off-site construction methods (OSM) of delivering turnkey projects, meaning on-site construction time is kept to a minimum.
Role Description Due to continued expansion, we now seek to strengthen our accounts and administration team.
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our growing team.
As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts and administrative functions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Efficiently post and process purchase invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Prepare and ensure accuracy of month-end payment files for timely processing.
Perform detailed reconciliations of creditors to ensure all accounts are up-to-date and accurate.
Proactively identify and escalate any discrepancies or issues with reconciliations and resolve them efficiently.
Provide reception support as required, including answering phone calls and greeting visitors.
Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to various departments as needed.
Organise travel arrangements for staff, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation.
Undertake additional tasks and duties as required to support the accounts and administration team.
Required Qualifications and Experience A relevant qualification in office administration, finance, or a related field.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
Fluent English.
Experience with Sage is preferable.
Proven experience in accounts administration.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and cost management.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and a professional telephone manner.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in handling administrative and financial tasks.
Discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Ability to work independently, showing initiative and problem-solving abilities.
