Job Description
AWS is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the Dublin-based AWS Lambda service team.
About AWS Lambda
AWS Lambda is revolutionizing how companies approach compute for building applications in the cloud.
Lambda functions offer customers a 'serverless' way to power applications, enabling them to turn business logic and application code into scalable, fault-tolerant production systems without requiring developers to become experts in distributed systems, deployment technologies, and infrastructure management.
This approach provides disruptive agility, cost efficiency, and elasticity, making it an exciting opportunity for those who love creating the future of language programming models for the next million developers.
Key Responsibilities
* As a Senior Product Manager, you will be part of the PM organization that owns the business model and P&L, feature development and prioritization of the product roadmap, customer segmentation and pricing, and demand generation for impactful new products.
* You will work across engineering, business development, and marketing leads to set strategy, define the product, and make high-judgment trade-offs between features and time-to-market.
* You will partner with technical leaders to ensure the programming model, scalability, and reliability promises, and developer experience delight our customers.
* You will contribute heavily in hiring additional team members and help set the vision, values, and culture of this business.
Requirements
* 3+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
* 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
* Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
* Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
* Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
* Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
