Quality Assurance Officer
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced QA professional to join a global Food and Beverage company in their Wexford site as a QA Manager.

This position offers a unique opportunity to lead the quality assurance function within our organization, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and drive the performance of quality metrics and KPIs associated with product and process quality, ongoing improvements, and adherence to regulations.
* Supervise the management of customer product specifications, certifications, and product release/grading processes.
* Work closely with operations to ensure sufficient resources are allocated to meet quality assurance needs.
* Facilitate and validate Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) in response to process issues.
* Perform audits with a focus on hygiene, HACCP standards, and preventing deviations.
* Engage in plant audits alongside customers, regulatory agencies, and external parties.
* Lead the monitoring of plant hygiene and oversee quality-related change control initiatives.
Requirements
* Third-Level Degree in a relevant discipline such as food science, quality assurance, or a related field.
* At least 3-5 years of experience in a Dairy, Food, or Pharmaceutical company, focusing on Quality Assurance or Food Safety.
* Experience with process improvements, ideally from a quality perspective, including the application of Lean and TPM Operational Processes & Continuous Improvement Skills.
* Possess strong knowledge of Food & Beverage Quality and HACCP principles.
