Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications for the role of Nurse Manager (CNM1) in a South Dublin based Children's Respite Service.
This is a permanent full-time contract with an organisation providing education, training, employment, respite and community living supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
The successful candidate will work closely with the respite management team to provide a quality service responding to the needs and priorities of its service users through therapeutic interventions, practical and nursing support where appropriate.
This is a 37.5 hour per week post, working Monday to Friday with occasional weekend cover required.
Requirements:
* Current registration with NMBI.
* RNID training is desirable but not essential.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in ID.
* Excellent knowledge of Health Act Regulations, HIQA Standards and relevant legislation as well as social care models.
* Experience of working with children is advantageous.
* Strong leadership qualities, including excellent communication, interpersonal skills and change management and auditing skills.
* Ability to manage, develop and motivate a staff team.
* Flexible working approach to respond to changing service needs.
* Vision for change management and innovation.
* Dynamic balance between risk and opportunity.
