Position Title: IT Professional - Infrastructure Analyst
Reporting To: Associate Director - MQ IDS
Lilly is currently constructing a Next Generation Biotech Drug Substance Manufacturing Facility in Limerick, Ireland. This facility will be Lilly’s most technically advanced manufacturing site and will include next-generation manufacturing technologies and advanced data collection and analysis platforms that will deliver improvements in safety and quality, and increased productivity and process performance.
Main Purpose and Objectives of Position:
Supports and deploys IT infrastructure solutions, associated tools, and system interfaces to fulfill business needs. Work within a team that provides support to Manufacturing, Laboratories, and Process Automation business areas. Strong focus on server and workstation platforms in accordance with company standards and guidelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Working as part of the IT infrastructure team to support, manage and maintain site IT business and manufacturing Infrastructure.
2. Plan and coordinate daily work activities for the infrastructure team and lead weekly standup meetings.
3. Site contact for global infrastructure teams in areas of project delivery, outage coordination, issue resolution, and site-specific infrastructure queries.
4. Provide regular status reports and escalation of major issues to the relevant business areas and management.
5. Responsible for ongoing hardware & software life cycle management activities including upgrading and retirement of GxP workstations & servers.
6. Maintain excellent level of support/outage coordination and liaise with business to minimize production-related infrastructure issues.
7. Generating and executing qualification/test documentation for IT infrastructure.
8. Ensure ongoing compliance with company Quality Standards and Practices when producing and maintaining all relevant infrastructure validation documentation.
9. Promote the use of system functionality and new technologies to improve work processes.
10. Working collaboratively with site Digital Plant & Applications teams to deliver solutions that meet site business needs.
11. Interacting with external parties (e.g., vendors, consortiums).
Ability to:

4. Strong attention to detail.
Knowledge:
1. Good working knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, workstations, storage platforms, virtualization, and networks).
2. Good understanding of Antivirus and Patching technologies.
3. Knowledge of ISA S95 standard.
4. Good understanding of data integrity and GDP/GMP requirements.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years+ of experience in infrastructure, preferred in pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in Computerized Information System, Computer Science, Programming, or Engineering or equivalent.
