A key role has become available for a Sous Chef at our award-winning gastropub, Mikey Ryan's Bar & Kitchen, located within the Cashel Palace Hotel. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that celebrates life and the local community through its food.
Under the direction of our Director of Culinary, Stephen Hayes, we strive to create a rich and vibrant culinary experience that showcases the best of Irish produce.

Key Responsibilities:
* To motivate, train, and develop junior members of the culinary team, ensuring they reach their full potential.
* To lead and manage the kitchen in the absence of the head chef, maintaining the same high standards.
* To manage ordering and inventory, minimizing waste and improving gross profit margins.
* To possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role or be looking to step up to a more senior position.
* To have experience working in a 5-star hotel or Michelin-recommended restaurant, although this is not essential.
